Use these suggested itineraries to plan your North India trip. Every route can start from Amritsar, Punjab, Chandigarh or Delhi and is customised on enquiry by Gursahib Singh and the Travel Destiny Hub team.

Shimla & Manali at your pace — 6N / 7D

Chandigarh → Shimla → Manali → Chandigarh. A classic hill holiday with time for town walks, valley views and a relaxed sightseeing day.

1. Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla — Meet your driver at the agreed pickup point and travel to Shimla. Settle in and enjoy an evening walk if arrival time permits.
2. Day 2: Shimla & Kufri — Plan Kufri sightseeing, then explore Shimla’s Mall Road and Ridge on foot. Discuss local access and parking with your driver.
3. Day 3: Shimla to Manali — Set aside the day for the mountain drive to Manali, with agreed breaks along the way. Check in and unwind.
4. Day 4: Explore Manali — Visit Hadimba Temple and explore the Old Manali area. Keep time free for cafés, shopping or a riverside stroll.
5. Day 5: Solang Valley — Take a day trip to Solang Valley. Activities and any additional mountain routes depend on weather, access and separate charges.
6. Day 6: A day your way — Enjoy a slower day in Manali or choose nearby sightseeing with the team. Finalise the plan around your interests.
7. Day 7: Return to Chandigarh — Depart for Chandigarh with enough time for the road journey. Confirm a realistic drop time before booking onward travel.

Dharamshala & Dalhousie escape — 4N / 5D

Amritsar → Dharamshala → Dalhousie → Amritsar. A gentle mix of Tibetan culture, forest roads and hill-town scenery.

1. Day 1: Amritsar to Dharamshala — Start from your agreed pickup location in Amritsar and drive to Dharamshala. Enjoy a relaxed evening after check-in.
2. Day 2: McLeod Ganj sightseeing — Explore the monastery area, Bhagsu village and local markets. Walking stops can be adjusted to your group’s comfort.
3. Day 3: Dharamshala to Dalhousie — Travel to Dalhousie with planned rest stops. Spend the evening enjoying the town at your own pace.
4. Day 4: Khajjiar day trip — Plan an excursion to Khajjiar when roads and weather permit. Return to Dalhousie for the night.
5. Day 5: Return to Amritsar — Drive back to Amritsar. Add local sightseeing only if your departure schedule allows, with the route agreed in advance.

Bir Billing & Palampur getaway — 3N / 4D

Chandigarh → Bir Billing → Palampur → Chandigarh. Mountain cafés, monasteries and an optional paragliding experience in Bir Billing.

1. Day 1: Chandigarh to Bir — Travel to Bir from Chandigarh, allowing a full day for the journey and breaks. Check in and settle into the mountain setting.
2. Day 2: Bir & optional Billing visit — Explore Bir’s monastery area and cafés. Discuss a Billing excursion and optional tandem paragliding with a local operator; flights depend on weather and availability.
3. Day 3: Palampur excursion — Enjoy an unhurried drive towards Palampur for tea-country scenery and local stops. Return to Bir for your final night.
4. Day 4: Return to Chandigarh — Begin the return drive with time for rest stops. Agree the drop location and timing before finalising your booking.

Jaipur heritage road trip — 3N / 4D

Delhi → Jaipur → Delhi. A city break for forts, historic streets and a flexible day of sightseeing.

1. Day 1: Delhi to Jaipur — Meet your driver in Delhi and travel to Jaipur. Check in, then enjoy an evening exploring nearby markets if time allows.
2. Day 2: Forts & city landmarks — Plan Amber Fort and selected city sights such as City Palace and the Hawa Mahal area. Entry tickets and guide services are discussed separately.
3. Day 3: Jaipur your way — Choose more heritage stops, shopping or a slower day. Share your interests so the route can be tailored to your group.
4. Day 4: Return to Delhi — Travel back to your agreed Delhi drop point. Allow sufficient buffer before a train or flight departure.
